Although a natural and expected part of the spectrum of healthy emotion, understanding and addressing anger can be a challenge for those of any age. As children feel strong emotions while still developing their language skills, they may express themselves through aggressive verbal/non-verbal means. Developing a broad, proactive framework for emotional awareness and expression is essential in aiding the child to establish a long-term foundation of health. This will equip the child to navigate through life with a well-stocked toolkit for dealing with challenging situations as they arise.
Participants will engage in skill-building activities such as games, roleplay and emotion-identification in order to work towards the awareness of their own triggers – and garner constructive methods regarding self-expression and self-management.
